This weekend was pretty low key. Josh left last Sunday to go work in Salt Lake City, Utah. He will be returning home this evening.
Friday night my parents and I went to watch my brothers girlfriend, Heather play basketball. She is a DOLL. We cannot imagine our life without Heather. Luke and Heather have been dating "off and on" for over two years. They spilt up over the summer but are now back together. We are all so HAPPY! She is just another sister for Kate and I. Friday night we went to Viola, Arkansas (also the hometown of my sweetie, Josh). Heather and Josh are/were LONGHORNS!

The game was great. They played Neelyville, MO. Neelyville was 20/0! Unbelievable. The lady Longhorns played well. With 1 minute remaining, we were down by 6 points. Team member, Leslie S. made a three point shot. We were just 3 points away with 0.5 seconds to go. Team member Leslie B. went up for a three point shot, was fouled and went to the free throw line...We were so nervous..It was a nail biter. Leslie B. went to the free throw line and made all three shots!!! It was a tied ballgame. We went into over time...but could not pull off the win. Heather was disappointed, but it was such a good game. After the game we went to Fred's Fish House and had catfish. It was delicious. I called it a early night...I had not been feeling well all day. I went to bed around 9.
Longhorns vs. Neelyville Let's Go Ladies!!
Saturday morning I woke up got around. Did some housework, school work, and took a morning nap. I still was not feeling well. I then went into town got some Valentines gifts, groceries, and lunch. Came home and got ready to go to Heather's game. I went with my parents. Kate decided to come too! :) This game was also a good game, but the officiating was not to great! The Lady Longhorns lost!
Sunday I was suppose to work at the Pharmacy. Although I was not feeling well at all. I decided that toughing out this cold was not going to work. I went to the Urgent Care Clinic and they told me I had bronchitis. I came home and slept all afternoon. I went to Mom and Dad's for dinner. We had steak, baked potatoes, green beans, pinto beans, and salad. Heather and Luke came too! We then watched the Super Bowl. It was a great game...and I was so happy the SAINTS won! Woo Hoo! I called it a early night. The weather men were calling for MORE snow over night. Of course, they were right!
I woke up this morning with the snow coming down pretty hard. We have got about 4 inches here in Southern Missouri. I got my call around 6:00 am that school was cancelled and I am afraid school will be cancelled again tomorrow. We are seriously going to be in school until the 4th of July! Tonight I am cooking breakfast for supper. Josh should be home around 6:30 or so. I am making homemade waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Sounded good to me. I hope he is in the mood for breakfast!
I am looking forward to seeing Josh! Happy Monday to all!

Your dinner last night and tonight sound great! Sounds like a good weekend with Heather! :)
Oh yuck! I had bronchitis over Halloween. I swear these past couple of months and working with kids have been a shock to my immune system. I was sick so often that Ryan thought there was something seriously wrong with me! I hope you start feeling better!
Oh the perks of teaching- all the germs! Yuck! Hope you're on the mend and feeling well soon! :)
What a fun weekend minus the sickness..lol.. we are big b-ball fans here too.. we love going to watch games...my son has always played!! Yes, I know what you mean by snow days, our kids here have been out all week, except for yesterday, they had a two hour delay.. I was just thinking the same thing, that they are going to be in school forever..hope you are feeling better! Have a great weekend!
